Bridges are critical infrastructure, depended upon by the travelling public. At Civil Group, our team has the expertise and experience to safely construct high-quality bridge infrastructure. We’ve worked with construction companies and government agencies to build vehicle and pedestrian bridges and overpasses. Our work includes:
Our knowledge and machinery capability covers all types of foundations.
Are prefabricated from a variety of materials. They require no curing time and can be installed in natural sequence, minimising equipment movement. Each pile is designed and verified for consistency and quality.
Are a steel screw-in pile ideal for stabilising ground or protecting sensitive sites. They don’t displace the earth, so they are fast and cost effective. They also produce less dust and vibration during installation.
Are a watertight retaining structure that can be constructed to pump water out, allowing bridge foundations to be installed in a dry environment.
Are small diameter piles that provide the ideal foundation solution in more challenging locations.
Are reinforced concrete piles cast on site and capable of supporting a heavy vertical weight.
Are used to stop the movement of retaining structures and help stabilise slopes.
Continuous flight Auger Piles are used in areas requiring low noise and minimal disturbance. The auger is not removed from the hole until concrete is added.
Are large, solid foundations that can have other foundations, such as screw piles, installed within them.
Our experts are available for consultations at the pre-design stage, to help you match the right foundation to the site and application. You’ll avoid delays, and save time and money, by making sure your project plan and design is based on the best information and insight.
Our tooling allows augured excavations up to 4 metres in diameter. With our low headroom LoDrils, and our wheeled and tracked piling rigs, we can execute piles from 10 to 80 tonne.
Our knowledge can improve your project plan, saving you time and money.
