Civil Group was founded in 2006 by Ben Juett, a fourth-generation drilling expert. Ben learned his trade in the family business, Underdale Drillers. A strategic approach to business succession planning led Ben to form Civil Group, while his three siblings took the helm at separately-owned companies. These companies offer complementary services, and Ben enjoys working in partnership with his siblings when he can.

Civil Group delivers end-to-end solutions, from design to construction and project completion. We’ve got bases across Australia, in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Karratha and Batchelor. We’ve also got a base in Hamilton, New Zealand. With a fleet of more than 25 modern, multi-purpose rigs and all the construction machinery to match, we’re capable of delivering several large-scale projects simultaneously.
We’ve put our rigs to work across a range of industries. We’ve worked on mining and construction sites, in exploration and infrastructure. We’ve constructed bridges, transmission lines and radio towers.
